Instructions:

  1. Remove the head of the pork fillet as shown in the video. Carefully peel off the thin membrane with your hands. Use a knife to remove the thicker membrane.
  2. Open the pork fillet by making a lengthwise incision, being careful not to tear it. Place a bag over the fillet and gently pound it with a mallet. Season with salt and pepper and rub in the spices well.
  3. Add the sundried tomato oil to the mustard and mix. Spread half of the mixture on the inside of the pork fillet. The rest of the mixture will be used later.
  4. Coarsely grate the cheese. Sprinkle the cheese over the pork. Arrange the sundried tomatoes on top. Roll up tightly.
  5. Place the roll in a pre-greased baking dish. Brush the roll with the remaining mustard mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius, with fan, in the middle of the oven, for about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the cream sauce:

  1. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Add a little oil to a preheated saucepan. Fry the onion and garlic until softened.
  2. Add the white wine and about 50-60ml of water. Wait a few minutes for the wine to evaporate and add the cream. Season with salt and pepper. Stir and wait for it to boil, then turn off the heat. Blend the sauce.

Once the roll and sauce are ready, it’s time to serve:

  1. Pour some of the cream sauce onto a plate and place a few pieces of the pork roll on top.

Enjoy your meal!

Tips:

  • You can use any type of cheese you like.
  • If you don’t have sundried tomatoes, you can use fresh tomatoes instead.
  • You can also add other ingredients to the filling, such as mushrooms, ham, or bacon.
  • Serve the roll with your favorite side dishes, such as mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.
