Instructions:
- Season the leg of lamb with salt, black pepper, paprika, dried savory, and olive oil. Rub all the spices in well.
- Add the garlic cloves and fresh savory to a roasting pan.
- Pour in the beer and 500 ml of water.
- Cover the leg of lamb with wet baking paper to prevent the meat from drying out.
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
- Roast in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit), without a fan, in the lower part of the oven, for about 4 hours.
- 20-30 minutes before removing the pan from the oven, remove the aluminum foil and paper, and let it brown.
- Serve the leg of lamb with a side dish of your choice.
