Instructions:
- Cut the potatoes into medium-sized cubes, the bacon into julienne strips, the cucumbers into thin slices, and the onion into small pieces.
- Heat some oil in a preheated skillet. Add the chopped bacon and fry it lightly until fragrant, then add it to the potatoes.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and fry it until well caramelized. Then add it to the potatoes.
- Add the pickled cucumbers. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir to mix everything well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. The dish should be 36 x 22 cm (14 x 8.5 inches) in size.
- Pour the cooking cream over the mixture. Sprinkle with the grated cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit), without a fan, in the middle of the oven, until the cheese is browned.
