  • 2.2 lbs (1 kg) chicken wings, washed, cleaned, and cut into two pieces

  • 2.7 fl oz (40 ml) olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1.8 oz (50 g) honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the white wine, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, honey, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and stir well to coat evenly.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) with the fan on.
  5. Arrange the wings in a baking tray lined with parchment paper and pour the remaining marinade over them.
  6. Bake the wings for 50 minutes in the lower part of the oven.
  7. After 50 minutes, flip the wings and return them to the oven for another 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Serve the chicken wings hot, with a lemon wedge on the side if desired.
