For the dough:
- 700g all-purpose flour (sifted)
- 2 eggs
- 100g yogurt
- 100ml oil
- 100ml lukewarm water
- 150g crumbled feta cheese
- 5g baking powder
- 7g dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- Oil for frying

Instructions:
Activate the yeast: In a small bowl, combine lukewarm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir and let sit for 10 minutes or until foamy.
Make the dough: In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the activated yeast, oil, yogurt, eggs, vinegar, and crumbled feta cheese. Knead until a smooth and elastic dough forms.
Let the dough rise: Grease a large bowl with oil and transfer the dough to it. Turn the dough to coat it with oil, cover the bowl, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Shape the pirozhki: Divide the risen dough into 4 equal parts. Roll each part into a long rope. Cut each rope into 12 equal pieces and shape them into small balls. Roll out each ball, sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese, and roll up like a jelly roll, pinching the seams to seal.
Fry: Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet. Fry the pirozhki until golden brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels.
