Recipe for: Crushed Tomatoes in Jars
Ingredients:
- 4 kg tomatoes, washed
- 1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
- 40g salt (or 2 tablespoons)

Instructions:
- Prepare tomatoes: Remove the green parts of the tomatoes.
- Chop tomatoes: Cut the tomatoes into large pieces.
- Grind tomatoes: Grind the tomatoes using a meat grinder (use the medium-sized plate).
- Add seasonings: Add the salt and chopped parsley to the crushed tomatoes and mix well.
- Pack jars: Fill the sterilized jars with the crushed tomatoes, leaving a small space at the top.
- Seal jars: Seal the jars tightly with lids.
- Sterilize jars: Place the jars in a pot lined with a cloth. Add water until it reaches about an inch above the lids.
- Boil: Bring the water to a boil and boil the jars for 30 minutes.
- Cool: Remove the jars from the pot and drain the water. Turn the jars upside down and let them cool.
- Store: Store the jars in a cool, dark place.
Yields: Approximately 15 jars (280 ml) and 3 jars (196 ml).
