  • 180 g butter
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 100 g walnuts, coarsely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour an 8-inch square baking pan. Line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Gradually whisk the sugar into the cooled chocolate mixture. Then whisk in the vanilla.
  5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Gently fold in the flour mixture until just combined.
  7. Finally, fold in the walnuts.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes. To test if the brownie is done, insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the brownie is done.
  10. Remove the brownie from the oven and let it cool in the pan for at least 1 hour. Then cut it into squares.
