INGREDIENTS:
- Half a chicken (cut into portions).
- Rice – 250 gr.
- Spinach – 450 gr. (frozen).
- Onion – 1 head (finely chopped).
- Carrots – 2 pcs. (finely chopped).
- Salt.
- Black pepper.
- Marjoram.
- Oil.
- Water – 500 ml.

INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a preheated pan, pour a little oil and sear the chicken portions until golden brown. Then remove the portions from the pan and arrange them in a baking dish.
- In the same pan, add the onion and carrots and fry them for a few minutes. Add the spinach and stew for 1-2 minutes. Add the rice, stir and turn off the heat. Season with salt, black pepper and marjoram.
- Pour the prepared mixture into the baking dish with the chicken portions. Distribute the mixture evenly. Pour about 500 ml of water into the baking dish and place in the oven.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees, without a fan, in the lower part of the oven, for about 40-50 minutes.

Tips:
- You can use boneless and skinless chicken breasts or thighs for this recipe.
- If you don’t have frozen spinach, you can use fresh spinach. Just wilt it in the pan before adding the rice.
