- Black pepper to taste

- 1 bay leaf

Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the chicken drumsticks and cook until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove the chicken drumsticks from the pot.
- Add the onion, carrot, and garlic to the same pot and cook for 1-2 minutes, until softened.
- Add the crushed tomatoes and stir.
- Add the potatoes, peas, and enough water to just cover the potatoes. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and bay leaf.
- Stir well and return the chicken drumsticks to the pot.
- Cover the pot with a lid and simmer over medium heat for about 40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley (optional).
