  • 5.3 oz (150 g) canned crushed tomatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Paprika to taste
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken drumsticks and cook until golden brown on all sides.
  3. Remove the chicken drumsticks from the pot.
  4. Add the onion, carrot, and garlic to the same pot and cook for 1-2 minutes, until softened.
  5. Add the crushed tomatoes and stir.
  6. Add the potatoes, peas, and enough water to just cover the potatoes. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and bay leaf.
  7. Stir well and return the chicken drumsticks to the pot.
  8. Cover the pot with a lid and simmer over medium heat for about 40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley (optional).
