Instructions:
- Cut the potatoes into slices about one finger thick and place them in a baking dish. Arrange the chicken thighs on top. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and oil. Rub in all the spices well.
- Add the white wine and water to the baking dish. Scatter the butter on top in small pieces and the dish is ready to go into the oven.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit), without a fan, in the lower part of the oven, for about 1 hour.
Enjoy!
Here are some additional tips:
- You can use any type of potatoes you like.
- If you don’t have garlic powder, you can use 2 cloves of minced garlic.
- You can add other vegetables to the baking dish, such as carrots, onions, or mushrooms.
- To make the chicken thighs with potatoes even more delicious, brush them with melted butter after baking.
- Serve the chicken thighs with potatoes with your favorite sides, such as a salad or green beans.
Please note:
- The original recipe calls for white wine, but you can use chicken broth or water if you prefer.
- The recipe also calls for baking the chicken thighs in the lower part of the oven. This is because the chicken thighs need to be cooked through evenly and the potatoes need to be crispy.
I hope you enjoy this recipe!
